Scoopz Frozen Yogurt signed with the Chamber of Commerce this week and is holding a Grand Opening/ribbon cutting ceremony tonight at 6 p.m. Check out this blog by owner Lyly Nguyen.

My name is Lyly Nguyen. I had a vision and a business plan for the past three years to open a self-serve frozen yogurt that is healthy, fun, and hip place for the kids to hang out instead of on the streets.

Scoopz is Corpus Christi’s very own first self-serve frozen yogurt with 12 different flavors and 40 different toppings to choose from. We are new to Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce this week!

The coolest thing about Scoopz is you get to create you own yogurt as to what flavors and toppings you like to put in it!

We been asked all week if we are a franchise but we are local! Scoopz is born in Corpus Christi, TX.

Our 40 toppings include fresh fruits daily, nuts, grains, raisins, granola and cereals.

Every time we go to Dallas or other cities, the one place my kids would request as there last place before leaving is frozen yogurt, so I had an idea that this would be great for our city to have one too!

I also own the Hu-Dat and D’lounge at the Kohl’s shopping center. When Keva Juice closed and the space became available, we just put everything to gear and pull all our resources to have ScoopzFrozenYogurt! All my businesses are in the same center where I could keep an eagle eye on it! The key to success has to be around and guide and change and troubleshoot any problem to make it smooth.
