2006 Outgoing Chairman of the Board

"It’s customary at the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce to honor our Outgoing Chairman of the Board by presenting them with an Award recognizing their dedication and all the hard work they’ve devoted to our Chamber.

This past Chair-Person (She’s) is also a shining example of leadership in our community.

Our past Chair is the Market President of Frost National Bank where she is responsible for four of their eight financial centers in Corpus Christi.  In that role, she’s responsible for meeting profitability, as well as marketing & growth goals for the region; not very different from her past responsibilities as a Chamber Board of Directors Chair.

She’s been employed at Frost Bank for fourteen years and continues to personally develop and service a sizeable loan, deposit, and fee portfolio while coaching and mentoring relationship managers, business bankers, and associate relationship managers. 

She also serves on the statewide Senior Relationship Committee, Relationship Pricing Committee, City Review, and Community Relations Committee for Frost, which is a subsidiary of Cullen/Frost Bankers- a financial holding company with assets of $13.2 Billion as of September 2007.

In addition to her work with the Chamber, she continues to be involved with several other community and professional organizations. She’s a past President and current member of the Board of Trustees for the Del Mar College Foundation. She’s a past President and current member of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees for the TX State Aquarium. In addition, she also serves on the Board of Trustees for both the South Texas Institute for the Arts and the Corpus Christi International Airport Board.
