In the past nine months, the members of Leadership Corpus Christi Class 36 have tested their limits by scaling rock walls and jumping from 35-foot towers. They’ve also learned about Corpus Christi and met many of its leaders.
Now they are working to give something back to the community through two class projects and are looking for your help:
The LCC36 Endowed Scholarship for Post-Secondary Education...
LCC36 feels the educational attainment of area students and the development of new generations of leaders are vital to our city’s future.
Class 36 began fundraising efforts internally, and then branched out to the community via mail with brochures detailing the annual scholarship.
Class members are continuing their efforts by conducting follow-up calls and scheduling face-to-face meetings with community leaders in hopes of surpassing their initial $10,000 goal by June 3rd.

LCC36 Care Package & Suitcase Drive...
Before moving on to post-secondary education, a child needs to be in an environment where they are provided for and feel safe.
LCC36 knows THE ARK Assessment Center & Emergency Shelter for Youth is a place for children to feel safe while in transition to a home with a foster family.
Because of the high demand for supplies, LCC36 has partnered with H-E-B and B&J’s Pizza to raise awareness, funds and supplies for infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children in THE ARK.
LCC36 will conduct a one-day drive on Saturday, May 17th at the H-E-B Plus at Saratoga to help address those needs.
B&J’s Pizza, along with other area supporters, will participate as official drop-off stations prior to the May 17th drive.
Posters and fliers with a list of the much-needed supplies will be made available at all drop-off locations.
